  1. HBO makes history with shows that win award after award after award. Such a contemporary sophisticated and quality production/network. They know where they put their money on!

  2. Been watching this show the past couple of days.. it's a slow burn and a bit hard to define… but it does show one thing consistently– the ultra wealthy are beyond a doubt, ultra dysfunctional

  3. HBO fan here. Watching my way through season 2. Verdict to date? Funny in parts but mostly boring. Brian Cox (as he usually does) carries this show but he can't do it alone. Billions, a similar show, is way better. I think the flaw lies in the choice of support cast. For example, there's an awful lot of talking so, screen presence and charisma is essential. Unfortunately, Jeremy Strong as Kendall (who's in a lot of scenes), just doesn't have it. Secondly, the pacing is uneven. The first episode started off with a bang i.e. Cox as 'Roy' stumbles off in the dark, into a room, thinking' it's the pisser–and pisses on to the floor. Hilarious. Vintage Brian Cox! We're off to the races. Then he disappears from the screen. For several episodes. In his absence, there's a lot of banal talking between nasty but totally forgettable characters, except possibly for, Marcia–Roy's current wife plus the bully-hapless victim interplay between Tom (Shiv's cowardly husband) and Greg (well meaning but socially awkward and naive grandnephew).

  4. This is just a thinly veiled attack on the Trump family
Unrealistic Hollywood dialogue and overdramatic tripe with stereotypical characters who you know their whole story the first episode
    Fuck this shit
