  1. -You were supposed to bring the force together Anakin, not leave it in darkness…
-ohh-oh boi, the darkness has just begun. Don't you understandd?
-This is far, far worse than I could ever imagined.

  2. Now that the trilogy is over, I can say there were things I was hoping for throughout and didn’t get. There were also things I saw that made me happy about it, and honestly watching them all over again I feel like I truly love Force Awakens, Last Jedi can never be a film I truly enjoy, and Rise of Skywalker was a story I felt sufficient to the coinciding developments created by both directors. There’s a lot of deeper stuff imo to a lot of the things that happened and while there were things I would change I’m still happy with what I got overall. There’s more to come, no need to be hating, they’ll get it right with different characters. The Skywalker Saga has come to a close for good.

  3. It’s so sad what happened to this trilogy. I was so pumped when this came out. I remember getting chills when the tie fighters screamed by. Now I pretend these are all fan films now.

  4. This was lightning in a bottle. The hype was somethin' that'll never be seen again and it has the energy of something that turned out to be cool. It kinda makes me sad considering how things turned out in the end. Maybe if there was some type of direction and gettin' Lucas back as a consultant or executive producer. This could have turned out a lot better than the trilogy ended up being.

I don't hate this Trilogy, but I am not all in love with it sadly. But let's face it, OT will never be topped and they probably should have just did something new within the Star Wars series. Rather than revisit the Skywalker story…

  5. Watching this again and wishing they had actually PLANNED the trilogy beforehand cuts the nostalgia of it all. Now, for me, it's just depressing.

  6. The months leading up to December 2015 was the best hype of any movie in my life. I remember going out on Force Friday, getting all the merch, watching all the TV Spots, Interviews reading all the theories and "leaks". Nothing will ever bring about that same experience again.
