  1. One of my favorite songs of all time, and I had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. Both times, they played this song, and their performances were even better than the recording.

  2. Recommend me songs like this pls ( besides anything from this band) I'm so in love with this song! Also something like 'wake up'

  3. No rastro do seu caminhar
No ar onde de você passar
    O seu perfume inebriante
Perdurando um instante ao outro inteiro evitar
Me abraça e me faz calor
    Segredos de liquidificador
Um ser humano o meu amor
De músculos de carne e osso
    Pele e cor
    – letra de Carnalismo, Tribalistas

  4. This song is always going to mean a lot to me, it's inseparably tied to my life and has been for more than 5 years. The memories this song evokes always make me tear up to be honest. Funeral is just such a romantic and emotionally charged album that I think really captures that feeling of being young and going through a time of great change in your life. Tunnels is certainly an incredible song, the way it builds and builds towards that great crescendo. The lyric you change all the lead sleeping in my head to gold will always be one of my favourites.

And if the snow buries my
    My neighborhood
And if my parents are crying
    Then I'll dig a tunnel
    From my window to yours
Yeah, a tunnel from my window to yours
    You climb out the chimney
And meet me in the middle
    The middle of the town
And since there's no one else around
We let our hair grow long
And forget all we used to know
    Then our skin gets thicker
From living out in the snow

    You change all the lead
    Sleeping in my head
    As the day grows dim
I hear you sing a golden hymn

    [Verse 2]
Then we tried to name our babies
But we forgot all the names that
The names we used to know
But sometimes, we remember our bedrooms
    And our parent's bedrooms
And the bedrooms of our friends
Then we think of our parents
Well, what ever happened to them?

    You change all the lead
Sleeping in my head to gold
    As the day grows dim
I hear you sing a golden hymn
It’s the song I’ve been trying to sing

Purify the colors, purify my mind
Purify the colors, purify my mind
And spread the ashes of the colors
    Over this heart of mine!

  6. This song is a musical masterpiece, the lyrics and the way the instruments build up and pick up tempo is a thing of Beauty

  7. I fucking love how much energy they give off in this music video, even if you only see them playing for 50% of the time. Gives me goosebumps every time.

  8. I remember taking my late father to the airport which was about a 2 hour drive and this was one of the only albums I had that was listenable for him. He really liked this song. I’m glad I got to share this band with him.

  9. best song ever… can´t get enough of listening… still cannot believe I missed their concert in Prague last year… OMFG … unexplicable…
